Christine Plews has once again been recognised as a Tier 1 mediator in the prestigious Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) Guide. This marks her third consecutive year at the top of the rankings for Family/Matrimonial Mediation. This ranking covers the Thames Valley comprising five counties.

A qualified solicitor with more than 30 years’ experience in family law, Christine is an accredited mediator with the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and is widely recognised as one of the leading family mediators in the region. She specialises in financial mediation following divorce or separation, including cases involving high-net-worth individuals, complex trust structures and business assets. She also conducts parenting and children mediations and is a Child Inclusive Mediator, enabling children to have their voices heard where appropriate.
Christine is also trained to work with neurodivergent clients and children, ensuring mediation is accessible and tailored to the needs of all participants. Her Postgraduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Oxford provides an additional dimension to her practice, helping her understand and respond to the emotional dynamics that often arise during family disputes.
In addition to her mediation practice, Christine is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Association and serves as a Diversity Champion. She is a Restorative Justice Trainer
