Emmaleen Muldoon

Barrister and Mediator

Emmaleen is a dual-qualified English barrister/US attorney, who was called to the English Bar in 2006 and qualified as a New York attorney in 2014. Her love of helping people through difficult family times is why she wanted to practice in family law. Her areas of expertise include: financial remedy cases arising from divorce or dissolution, TOLATA applications involving cohabiting couples, Family Law Act injunctions and child arrangements.

Emmaleen qualified as a mediator in 2009 with the Family Mediation Council and since then has spent time with many couples working together to help solve their disputes. She takes a people first approach to her work and strives to help find a just and workable solution for everyone involved.

She also deals with our large caseload of pet custody disputes and has had extensive experience of civil disputes which is a huge help to our clients.

Previously she worked for at the independent bar, conducting her own trials, applications, and hearings before spending time in the United States working in law firms in New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Outside of work, Emmaleen enjoys running, exploring the British countryside and history.
