Parenting Issues
Once the decision to separate has been made one of the first things that parents or carers consider are arrangements for the children. There are common fears and problems at this time that parents and children often have to face:
Mediation can very much help in these circumstances as it aims to assist parents by focusing on their parenting relationship and keeping the parents centred on the children’s needs and feelings.
They will be encouraged to not allow the conflict between them to involve the children and to put arrangements in place without delay for the children to spend time with both parents.
Our experienced mediators, who have considerable legal experience, will help you to have constrictive conversations leading to a parenting plan which we would help would be sustainable. This means that your parenting relationship enables the parenting plan to be flexible as the family’s needs change rather than going back to lawyers or the Court.
We offer the Ministry of Justice Voucher Scheme which contributes £500 (inc.VAT) towards your joint mediation costs provided that you proceed to the joint sessions.
